1100L Sump for Full IBC Containment

UPQUARK Heavy Duty IBC Spill Containment Pallet (Model UP-1504) is a robust secondary containment solution designed for high-density, hazardous liquids stored in 800–1200L IBC tanks. Built from seamless LLDPE, it prevents secondary leakage and stands up to corrosive environments with UV, rust, and chemical resistance. Its 1,100L sump capacity exceeds EPA and SPCC requirements, offering full containment for a leaking IBC.

TUV-Certified for 2500kg Compression Strength

Tested and certified by TUV, this pallet withstood a 2,500kg compression test with no structural failure—making it ideal for high-stakes industrial applications where compliance, safety, and structural performance matter most.

Compatible with 800–1200L IBCs
Supports various tank sizes used in high-volume operations.
Optional Drain Plug
Offers flexibility—but not recommended for corrosive chemical use
Seamless LLDPE Construction
Perforated Grating Surface
Allows visual leak monitoring without lifting grates.
Forklift-Friendly
Dual-end access with reinforced pockets.
Compliance
Applications
  • Chemical production plants storing flammable or high-density liquids

  • Oil & gas facilities managing high-volume transfer or blending

  • Hazardous material storage depots with strict environmental oversight

  • Manufacturing lines requiring reliable IBC access and spill response

  • Multi-national safety program rollouts requiring CEPA, SEVESO III alignment

Benefits
  • Meets most international containment mandates (U.S., UK, AU, CA, EU)

  • TUV-tested load performance builds confidence for regulated sites

  • Suitable for facilities managing high-risk or flammable substances

  • Enhances EHS audit readiness through proactive design and documentation

Usage Notes
  • Do not use drain plug option for corrosive chemicals—choose fully sealed versions only.

  • Always perform a Chemical Compatibility Test (strip included) before introducing unknown liquids.

  • Place on flat, reinforced flooring to ensure structural stability when loaded.

  • Clean sump and siphon area regularly to prevent buildup or clogs.

FAQs

All faqs
What’s the load capacity of this pallet?

It supports up to 2,500 kg, verified in long-duration outdoor simulation and certified by TUV.

Can it store corrosive liquids?

Yes—thanks to its seamless LLDPE construction, it is suitable for most hazardous or corrosive liquids, as long as the drain plug is not used.

Why is seamless construction important?

It eliminates joints that could crack or leak—especially important for hazardous or high-volume liquid containment.

Does this pallet meet global regulatory standards?

Yes. It complies with EPA, SPCC, Oil Storage Reg 2001, GPP26, and aligns with SEVESO III and CEPA 1999 standards.

What if I’m unsure of the chemical compatibility?

Use the included Chemical Compatibility Strip—immerse it in the liquid for 48 hours to evaluate swelling or degradation.
