In daily spill containment operation, safety officers are most concerned about the damage may cause by "unknown liquids". UPQUARK Chemical Compatibility Testing Strips are specifically designed for evaluate and prevent such risks. They are small testing tools to figure out whether a liquid is chemical compatible with spill containment pallets. Made from the same material as UPQUARK plastic spill containment pallets, these strips size 60×36×3 mm and are in a bright, highly visible yellow color. Even totally soaked in testing process, they remain noticeable, alerting relevant operators to potential chemical risks.
Each Testing Strip can be placed in measuring cups of various sizes for a 48-hour immersion test of the liquid. By observing whether it expands, deforms, cracks, or corrodes, people can assess whether the liquid is likely to damage the surface of spill containment pallet. Each UPQUARK one-piece spill containment pallets (without drainage outlets) is equipped with one Testing Strip as standard set, which is attached on the surface of the equipment. It will not affect application, and is easy visible and convenient for immediate use.

Assessment of temporary storage of unknown liquids
Compatibility testing of hazardous chemicals before factory entry
On-site testing during safety audits
Rapid identification of residual liquids during the production process
Pre-inspection before using new formulations and raw materials
An internal verification tool for brand manufacturers when developing new models of spill containment products
Reduce risk possibility and enhance safety insurance level
Provides safety data support for high-risk liquids storage and spill containment
Helps to build safe operation SOPs: The actual test results can serve as the basis for standard operating procedures
No laboratory instruments or complex procedures are required: Easy judgement by operators
The recommended immersion time should be no less than 48 hours to ensure a full reaction
Conduct the test in a well-ventilated and safe area
Do not reuse the same testing strip after the test
Observe indicators such as deformation, bubbles, warping, and rust to determine compatibility
The test cannot replace laboratory chemical analysis and is only used for front line prediction and equipment selection reference

It can be used for most industrial liquids, especially for liquids with corrosion concerns but unknown compositions, serving as a quick screening tool.
The standard observation period is 48 hours. In the case of highly corrosive liquids, a reaction may occur within a few hours.
The bright yellow color helps to draw attention, avoiding accidental contact or loss during the testing process. It is also one of the chemical warning colors.
As a potential chemical contact item, it is recommended to dispose of it according to the regulations for chemical waste and not throw it into household garbage.
Currently, it has not passed the BV certification. However, it is made of the same material as UPQUARK pallets and has been verified in real-world scenarios, providing sufficient reference for operational judgment.
Only seamless (no-drain) pallets are suitable for hazardous chemicals. Pallets with drain outlets can pose a risk of secondary leakage, making them unsafe for storing or transporting corrosive or flammable substances.
